Obituary of Diane Bojana Southey

Passed away peacefully at the P.R.H.C. in her 71st year on Saturday May 6, 2017.  An accomplished original artist, Diane was filled with passion for her art, teaching art to children, and her family.  A devoted Bahá’í, Diane served her faith and believed in the importance of prayer, even until her last day.  Loved and missed by her children Tracy and Steven, grandson Jacob, and son-in-law Brian. 

Friends and relatives are invited to attend the committal service at Hillside Cemetery, Casement Lane, Lakefield on Saturday May 13, 2017 at 11:00 AM.  A Celebration of Diane’s Life will follow at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOME, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL from 12:00 – 3:00 PM.  Memorial donations may be made to the Five Counties Children’s Centre as expressions of sympathy and may be made by contacting the funeral home at www.hendrenfuneralhome.com or by calling 705-652-3355.
