I had the opportunity to meet her over the years as 'one church secretary to another'. She would always greet you with a smile. She was a devoted worker for her church and loved the job no matter what it demanded.

Dear Hickey Family,
My condolences on the passing of your wonderful mom. I remember her so well from my Lakefield days. Thirteeen years ago when I was planning my wedding I called St. Paul's to obtain a copy of my church record. How honoured was I when not only did she remember me after living in Toronto for almost 15 years but also took the time to ask how my family was doing. It was such a lovely chat and epitomizes who she was - a kind , gentle and friendly woman. May God give you all strength in the difficult days ahead. Rest In Peace Mrs.Hickey.

We are absolutely heartbroken to hear of our darling Aunt Cathy's passing. She was a shining example of God's love.
I was absolutely honoured to have her step in to my life and take on the very important role as my godmother. I will carry with me, all of the great advice she gave me over the years regarding the importance of being a Mother.

I was shocked to learn of the death of Cathy this morning. She seemed so well the last time I spoke to her. I will miss her very much ... her love, caring, compassion, her sense of humour, her laugh and most of all, her Faith.
