CRAWFORD: Melville Hill Passed away peacefully at the P.R.H.C. on Sunday March 5, 2017. Mel Crawford of Selwyn in his 87th year. Loved and missed by his wife of 61 years, Lorraine. Also sadly missed by his children Shawn Crawford (Angela) of Lindsay and Cindy Fisher (Gregory) of Peterborough. Survived by his sister Fay Covert, sister-in-law Ruth Crawford and several nieces and nephews. Grandpa of Sarah, Meghan and Emily. Predeceased by his parents Charles & Ellen Crawford, sisters Marjorie Crawford, Jean Sage and Betty Coons, brothers Charlie and James Crawford, brothers-in-law John Covert, George Sage and sister-in-law Norien Crawford. Friends and relatives may call at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL, 66 Queen Street, Lakefield on Thursday March 9, 2017 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. A funeral service will be held in the Hendren Chapel on Friday March 10, 2017 at 3:00 PM. A reception will follow in the Heritage Room of the funeral home. Interment Hillside Cemetery.
