Obituary of Morley Edward Daynes

DAYNES, Morley Edward Passed away at the the Campbellford Memorial Hospital on Thursday May 19, 2016. Morley Daynes of Norwood in his 91st year, beloved husband of 66 years to Leitha (nee Pearson). Beloved father of Susan Colpitts (the late Tom) and Debra Morrison (Grant) all of Peterborough. Cherished grandpa of Edward Morrison (Liz Anton), Erin Morrison and Elizabeth Morrison and great grandpa of Isabelle Leitha Suzanne Morrison. Uncle to his sister’s children Gordon Rance (Kathy) James Rance (Sheryl Lynn) and Donald Johnson (Joyce) and his niece Doris Terry (Kent). Predeceased by his parents Donald Edward and Illa Daynes, brother Lloyd Daynes and sisters Doris Rance (Al) and Bernice Johnson (Johnny). A funeral service will be held from THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL on Saturday May 28, 2016 at 1:00 PM with visitation to commence at 12:00 PM. Interment Lakefield Cemetery. A reception will follow at the Lakefield United Church Hall, 47 Regent Street, Lakefield.
