I met Jane in Bobcaygeon when I was 18 and Jane was 20. We went to all the Bobcaygeon ticats games . She was a great fan. She made me feel so welcome to Bobcaygeon. I was a foreigner from Victoria Road. We remain friends for years. I was honoured to be a godmother to Jillian. We want to let you know how much we enjoyed attending hockey games with Jane and Ron when are sons were in minor hockey .Jane was a serious knowledgeable hockey mom but she usually expressed a calm demeanour. She was a positive influence on the players. As a manager and coach in minor hockey I realized the importance of skating. We were very fortunate to have Jane , a professional skater, spend many hours with minor hockey players instructing them in the proper techniques. I admired her initiative in starting her own jewellery store. I helped her for a short time with the bookkeeping. Her pleasant personality made her a natural salesperson. Jane was a dedicated mother and grandmother, She had a keen interest in all their activities.
We will miss her. Our thoughts and prayers are with Ron and the family .
