Obituary of Dale Allison Myers

MYERS, Dale Allison Passed away peacefully at the P.R.H.C. on Monday October 26, 2015. Dale Myers of Lakefield in his 85th year. Beloved husband of 64 years to Shirley (nee Byers). Cherished father of Karen Myers (Wayne Hicks) of Oshawa and John Myers (Joyce) of Bowmanville and loving father-in-law of Ursula Myers of Peterborough. Grandpa will always be loved and remembered by Craig McConkey (Dawn), Kelly Parberry (Mike), Laura Myers (Darryl Callahan) and Amanda, Lucas and Christopher Myers and by his great grandchildren Jordan and Nicholas Parberry and Hunter and Beau McConkey. Also remembered by his sisters-in-law Sharon Sullivan (late Tom) and Sandy Ditchburn (late Bob) and by his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his twin boys Rod and Bill and by his 11 siblings. Relatives and friends are invited to call at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL on Thursday October 29, 2015 from 2:00 – 4:00 & 7:00 – 9:00 PM. A funeral service will be held in the Hendren Chapel on Friday October 30, 2015 at 10:00 AM. Interment Lakefield Cemetery. A reception will follow in the Heritage Room of the funeral home.
