Obituary of Victoria Anne Smith

SMITH, Victoria Anne “Vicky” (nee Pylypiuk) It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful yet unexpected passing of Vicky at the age of 72 at the P.R.H.C on Sunday August 30, 2015 as a result of an accident. Beloved wife of 51 years to Edmund “Ted” Smith of Curve Lake, formerly of Burlington, Ontario. She will be sadly missed by her loving daughter, Arley Anne Smith (Steve Berry) and her son, Edmund R. Smith Jr. Vicky will also be lovingly remembered by her sister Christine Beckett (Douglas), her brothers John Powell (Donna) and Terry Pylypiuk and her sister-in-law Robin Murray (Kenny). Vicky was predeceased by her sister Luba Peck and will be missed by her nieces and nephews, Sarah, Meagan, Alexander, Kevin, Kendra, Cameron and Ben. A celebration of Vicky’s life will be held at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL on Sunday September 20, 2015 from 1:00 – 4:00 PM. As expressions of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Canadian Mental Health Association, Haliburton, Kawartha and Pine Ridge would be greatly appreciated by the family.
