Obituary of Margaret McIlwain

McILWAIN: Margaret (nee Crowe) Passed away at her home on Monday May 25, 2015. Margaret McIlwain of Lakefield in her 97th year. Sadly missed by her children Terry McIlwain (Eleanor) and Diane Tait (the late Ray Scott), both of Peterborough, Judy Ball (the late Charlie) and Rick McIlwain (Linda), both of Lakefield. Also missed by 12 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. Survived by her brother Wayne Crowe of Fraserville and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brothers Frank, Donny, Fred and Ed Crowe and her sister Theresa Birch. A funeral service will be held at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL on Friday May 29, 2015 at 2:30 PM. Visitation one hour prior to the service. A reception will follow in the Heritage Room of the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the P.R.H.C. Palliative Care Unit as expressions of sympathy.
