Obituary of Bazel James Saltern

SALTERN, Bazel Passed away at the Campbellford Memorial Hospital on Monday April 20, 2015. Bazel Saltern of Norwood, formerly of Dummer Township in his 81st year. Husband of the late Ethel (nee Pratt). Step-father of Annabelle Sherry of Peterborough, grandfather of James “Jim” Sherry (Heather), Anna Marie Keating (Glenn) and Joe Sherry (Shelley) and great grandfather of Matthew, Mallory, Brittany, Aaron, Caleb, Colton, Owen and Aiden. Also survived by his sisters Ethel, Edith and Pauline and by his friend Debbie Brock (late Walter). Predeceased by his brother Wilbert “Whitey” Saltern. A memorial service will be held at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, NORWOOD CHAPEL on Monday April 27, 2015 at 1:00 PM with visitation to commence at 11:00 AM. Reception to follow at the R.C.L., Br. 300, Norwood. Interment of urn will take place at the Asphodel-Norwood Cemetery.
