Obituary of John Henry Burton

John Henry Burton (Nobby), born June 21st, 1930, passed away on April 16th, 2015 in his home at Adelaide Place, Lindsay with his loving family by his side. Formerly of Bobcaygeon, where he co-owned and operated Lonesome Pine Park with his family. John was a Project Manager with Stone and Webster Canada in Toronto before moving to Bobcaygeon. Tess and John immigrated to Canada in 1967 from Bridgwater, Somerset, England with kids in tow. He is predeceased by his loving wife Teresa Ismay Burton, nee Apperley, (June 4, 1930 – February 6, 2009). Loving father to Jamie & Michelle, Jane & Mike; grandfather to David, Sarah & David, Brandon and Shelby; doting great-grandfather to Ismay. Eldest brother of Bob, Stan, Diana, Mike and Jeanette all of the United Kingdom. John will be dearly missed by everyone who knew him.
