Obituary of David William Axon

AXON, David William “Dave” July 21, 1942 – March 19, 2015 Passed away peacefully on March 19, 2015 at Peterborough Regional Hospital at the age of 72. Dave is the beloved son of Mary and the late William and was born in England on July 21, 1942. He will be sadly missed by his son Dave Axon (Karen Macklin), daughter Sandy Matheson (Jim Kavanaugh). Grandfather to Christine Devison (Andrew Kirkbride), Candice Devison (Chad Farrell), Jordan and Jasmine Axon, Ryan Matheson and Rebecca Kavanaugh. Great grandfather to Chloe, AJ and Ashton Kirkbride. Dave was predeceased by his wife Leslee (2007). Dave worked as a clerk for Canada Post for 36 years. He enjoyed traveling, playing golf and horseshoes as well as fishing. Friends and relatives may call at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES - MONK CHAPEL, 6 Helen St., Bobcaygeon, on Monday, March 23, 2015 from 2:00 until 3:00 PM.
