Dear Dennis, Rick and Families...so sorry for the loss of your dear Mom and grandmother. Dave and I had the pleasure of chatting with your Mom at the Community Care lunches and she was very proud of her boys and grandchildren. She was a grand lady and I know the last few years have been very tough with her declining health so may all the cherished memories of better days help you cope as you move forward. Sorry we were not able to attend Muriel's celebration of life but you were in our thoughts and prayers.

My sincere condolences to your family. Your mom and mine were really good friends. I remember when I would visit my mom she would always give me an update of her life that week. It always included some small story about your mom. She was a lovely lady and will be missed.
Our family has a special place in our heart for Muriel, she took us under her wing over 20 years ago & graced us with her kindness from the 1st day that we had the privilege of becoming friends & almost neighbours, (up the hill & around the corner). She was never too busy to share with us, a cup of tea & wonderful conversation. At Pine Crest, she would look into my eyes & hold my hand with that gentle touch & a wee smile would adorn her face. She admired a hand made scarf I wore that day, at which I decided to give to her before I left. A gift from me to her, just because. Please know that our thoughts & prayers are with all of you at this time.
