Obituary of Minnie Frances Toms

TOMS: Minnie Frances (nee Frisbee) Fran passed away peacefully in her 88th year, at the PRHC after a long and brave battle with cancer. Fran dedicated her life to the family farm and loved bowling, golfing and her dog Dexter. Sadly missed by her children Larry Toms (Cheryl), Judy Hamersma (Hage), Garnet Toms (Wendy), Debbie Rogers (Richard), Farley Toms (Deb), Jim Toms (Peggy), Stephen Toms (Marie). Fran Toms was a proud grandmother of 16 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband George in 1997, brother Harry Frisbee in 2014 and daughter-in-law Yvonne in 2011. A funeral service will be held at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES - NORWOOD CHAPEL on Wednesday March 4, 2015 at 1:00 PM. Visitation from 11:30 AM until 1:00 PM. Interment at Maple Grove Cemetery, Havelock, spring 2015. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of your choice.
