McCARTHY/ALLEN, Agnes Rita Passed away peacefully at Extendicare, Lakefield on Sunday February 15, 2015. Rita (nee Forestell) of Lakefield in her 101th year. Wife of the late Francis McCarthy and Sylvester Allen. Dear mother of Barbara Northey (Pete) of Woodview and Ron Allen (Lynne) of Vernon, B.C. Also loved and remembered by John McCarthy (Mary) and their children of Burlington and Jane McCarthy of Buckhorn. Loved grandmother of Shelly Horner (Eldon), Alan Northey (Melanie), Shawn Northey (Marylou), Michaela Allen, Andrew Allen (Julia), Ryan Allen and by 8 great grandchildren. Predeceased by 6 brothers and sisters. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Paul the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, Lakefield on Saturday February 21, 2015 at 11:00AM. A reception will follow in the Heritage Room of THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL. Interment at St. Peter’s Cemetery, Peterborough at a later date.
