Robert and I send you our deepest sympathy on the loss of your mother and grandmother. I am sorry I cannot attend her funeral.
I will miss receiving Aunt Isobel's Christmas card every year with her distinctive flowing handwriting.
We were enchanted with our petite Aunt Isobel when we were young. She once showed us a yellow dress with a sequined collar which she made for the jewellers' ball. She was an excellent homemaker. She could sew, cook, clean, decorate and entertain well. She knew how to make a lovely home.
Aunt Isobel had many friends through church, golf, bridge and other social activities. She was a loyal and knowledgeable volunteer with the IODE for many years.
Aunt Isobel and Uncle Ron were kind and generous to me.
Robert and I enjoyed a few visits with Aunt Isobel in Bobcaygeon. The lovely picture in the obituary reflects her fine qualities.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you,
Anna, Robert, Alicia and Louise Tumchewics

My condolences to the Chapman family and friends. I was a neighbour of Isobel's and always looked forward to a chat when she was out walking or visiting Pauline and Bill across the street. Her bright smile and a jolly wave will be greatly missed whenever she was passing in her car.

We are so very saddened to hear of Isobel's passing. She was such a delightful person, always trying to look at the bright side. As a practitioner in the Healing Ministry at Trinity United Church, we often had the privilege of treating Isobel. She loved those treatments and found them to help her to calm down and relax. Isobel always had a ready smile and a cheery nature. She kept so busy with exercise at the pool, bridge games with her friends, church and community activities. She was a good neighbour and friend. We will miss her very much.

Michael, Stephen and your families - It is with great sorrow and saddened heart that I send my deepest sympathy to each of you. Your mother's passing which was so sudden and unexpected leaves a void in my life also. Meeting in 1994 our friendship grew and lasted until January 11, 2015. I have not met any of you but have come to know you through the many phone calls that your Mother and I had over the years Family was very important to Isobel. Take solace in knowing that she is at peace and now joined with the love of her life. Marilyn Melvin

Dear family, my name is Kim and I have known Isobel for over 30 years! I am one of her Aquafit instructors. I first met her when she went to Lindsay for classes and then in Bobcaygeon. Isobel has seen me through my engagement, marriage, having my 3 children and now my two grandchildren. She would always ask how they were all doing, telling me about her family and always wanting to make sure that I was doing ok! She has brightened my day for many years now and I am so sorry that she is gone. She will be terribly missed by all of us at the pool. I pray that the Lord would comfort you all and help you through the rest of this week and beyond. Isobel was one of the special ones, and I am sure this must be a difficult time. Know that she was loved and she loved those around her, I will miss her and our little chats at the end of class. God bless all of you and may He grant you peace and comfort.

To the Family:
Isobel will be missed. She always had a lovely smile for everyone she met and was always interested in a chat.
I swam with her, curled with her, played bridge and mah jongg with her and also golfed over the many years we had known one another.
She was very proud of her growing family.
