Our sympathies to Nancy and the family.
Our connection, very dated, started with my consulting relationship for Ferro and Ray back in the 1970's and into the 80's.
Ray was a great supporter of our attempt to get into recreational boat touring on the Trent system. He tutored me on fibreglass care, navigation issues to be watchful for on the Trent and most importantly, about the houseboats.
We put his learnings to the test in 1981 and en route to Peterborough from Sparrow Lake, stopped into your cottage for a visit. Nancy, if you remember us at all, it was because Susan was very pregnant, we had two young children on board and we had a stroller strapped to the bow of our 17 foot brown Tempest power boat.
While I was in the advice business, Ray gave me lessons on life to which I listened to and practised. Fred & Susan of Collingwood, retired 65 year olds.
