Obituary of Muriel Georgina Torrance

TORRANCE, Muriel Georgina On September 15, at Fairhaven Home, Peterborough, Muriel (nee Gray) passed peacefully in the company of Robert (Bob), her husband of almost 72 years. Formerly of Claremont and Lakefield, Muriel was the loving mother of John (Margaret) of Keswick, Jim (Susan) of Buckhorn, Ken (Doreen) of Bobcaygeon and Allen (Fay) of Cannington. Grandma will be remembered with love by her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Muriel was pre-deceased by her parents Orrin and Ethel (Allen) Gray, sister Frances and brother Dr. Allen Gray. Relatives and friends are invited to call at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL on Friday, October 3, 2014 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the Hendren Chapel on Saturday, October 4, 2014 at 2:00 p.m., with visitation to commence at 1:00 p.m. Interment Hillside Cemetery. A reception will follow in the fellowship hall of Lakefield Baptist Church.
