Obituary of Benson Donald Arthur Heffernan

HEFFERNAN: Benson Donald Arthur “Art” Passed away peacefully at his residence on Tuesday, September 2, 2014 in his 81st year. Survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Orma; daughters Cheryl Deshane and Melodie (John) Moulaison; grandchildren Michael (Erin) Deshane, Stephanie (Christos) Skotidas, Christopher (Jennifer) Moulaison and Tyler (Liz) Moulaison; great grandchildren Brianna, Kayla, Paras, Cora, Peter and Andy. Predeceased by his son-in-law Rick Deshane and brother Dale Heffernan. A private family funeral service was held in the HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES-MONK CHAPEL, 6 Helen Street, Bobcaygeon. Interment followed at Verulam Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Lung Association.
