ADAMS: Elwood Alexander Passed away at the P.R.H.C. with his loving family by his side on Monday August 25, 2014. Elwood Adams of Lakehurst in his 95th year. Beloved husband of Shirley (nee Pearson). Dear father of Janice Sharpe (Robert), Philip Adams (Marguerite), Katherine Saville (Brian) and Bill Adams. Survived by his sister Zelda Sage, 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Predeceased by his sisters Lizzie Flynn (Russell), Mildred Harrison (Walter), Lucretia Pearson (Don) and brother-in-law John Sage. Friends and relatives may call at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL on Friday August 29, 2014 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM. A funeral service will be held in the Hendren Chapel on Saturday August 30, 2014 at 11:00 AM. Visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment Sandy Lake Cemetery, Lakehurst. A reception will follow in the Lakehurst Hall. Memorial donations may be made to the Wesley United Church, P.R.H.C. Palliative Care or the charity of one’s choice as expressions of sympathy.
