Obituary of Colin Sharpe

SHARPE, Colin – Retired 42 year Machinist at General Electric. Passed away peacefully at the P.R.H.C., Palliative Care with his loving family by his side on Sunday August 17, 2014. Colin Sharpe of Warsaw in his 63rd year. Colin loved to spend time in the outdoors both fishing and hunting. He was known for his love of woodworking and for his ability to fix anything and for always lending a hand when needed. Loving husband of 31 years to Sara (McDonnell). Beloved father of Allison Sharpe and Laura Sharpe (Travis Berlenbach). Brother of Stephen (Rose). Missed dearly by his sisters-in-law Eleanor McDonnell (Ferdinand Guzman), Virginia McDonnell, Jessie Dunford (Charlie) and brother-in-law Brent Hockaday. Uncle Colin will be greatly missed by his many nieces and nephews and especially by Erin and Grant McDonnell who thought of Colin as a second father. Predeceased by his parents Ruth and Donald Sharpe, brother Jim, sister Glenna, in-laws Bert and Grace McDonnell and brother-in-law Alan McDonnell. A celebration of Colin’s life will be held at the family home on Saturday August 23, 2014 from 3:00 – 6:00 PM.
