Obituary of Doreen Murdy

MURDY, Doreen (nee Puffer) Passed away surrounded by love at the Peterborough Manor on Friday May 23, 2014. Doreen (nee Puffer) of Peterborough, formerly of Stoney Lake in her 85th year, wife of the late Bob Adrian Murdy (d. June 29, 2004). Beloved Mom of Shawn Murdy and Pat Murdy of Peterborough and Andrew Murdy of Toronto. Nanee will always be loved and remembered by her granddaughter Christina and great grandchildren Jaclyn and Adrian. Also survived by her sister Marina Puffer-Butland (Jim) of Kashabog Lake. Predeceased by her parents Russell and Mabel Puffer, brother Ralph Puffer (Jean Miller) and sister Mildred Louden (Lloyd). Relatives and friends are invited to call at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL on Wednesday May 28, 2014 from 7:00 - 9:00 PM. A funeral service will be held in the Hendren Chapel on Thursday May 29, 2014 at 11:00 AM. Reverend Beverly Sumbler officiating. A reception will follow in the Heritage Room of the Funeral Home.
