McEWEN: Muriel Ruth Passed away at the P.R.H.C. on Monday February 10, 2014. Muriel McEwen of Peterborough, formerly of Buckhorn in her 88th year. Loving wife of the late Robert McEwen (2006). Dear mother of the late Allan (1975), Barbara McEwen (Peter Grigat) and Debora Gordon (Rob). Loving Nana of Lindsay Gordon (Rich Wilson), Melanie Gordon and Kiela Grieger (Ryan). Survived by her brother-in-law Eddie Goring and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her sister Margaret Goring and brother James (Vera). A Celebration of Life will be held at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL on Friday February 14, 2014 at 2:00 PM. Visitation one hour prior to the service from 1:00 - 2:00 PM. Rev. Ken Lawton officiating. A reception will follow in the Heritage Room of the funeral home.
