Obituary of Stanley Dunford

DUNFORD: Stanley Arthur "Stan" Founder of Dunford Brothers Sand & Gravel. Passed away peacefully at Extendicare, Lakefield on Thursday January 2, 2014. Stan Dunford of R.R. #10 Peterborough in his 98th year. Beloved husband of the late Ferne (nee Graham). Dear father of Paul and his wife Cindy of R.R. #10 Peterborough and Donald and his wife Barbara of Burleigh Falls. Papa will be dearly missed by grandchildren Holly Brackenridge (Mark), April Coulter (Larry), Brent Dunford (Sarah), Chad Dunford (Sarah), Carrie Burrett (Ben), Curtis Dunford and great grandchildren Hope, Meghan, Emily, Jacob, Brady, Kate, Jenna and Chayse. Brother of Ila Shadgett and Karl Dunford (Donna). Predeceased by sisters Flora Johnston, Mina McGee, Edna Darling, Mary Boate and brothers Milton (Mick) Dunford, Bill Dunford and his parents Oscar & Ella Dunford. Friends and relatives may call at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL, on Tuesday January 7, 2014 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday January 8, 2014 at 11:00 AM, followed by a reception. A private family interment will be held at Rosemount Memorial Gardens, Peterborough.
