Obituary of David Claus

CLAUS: Dave Passed away peacefully at the P.R.H.C. on Wednesday October 16, 2013. Dave Claus of Ennismore, formerly of Bronte, Ontario in his 83rd year. Dave was a longtime dedicated employee of the Ford Motor Company for over 30 years. Loved and missed by his wife Dorothy La Fave of Ennismore. Also missed by his sons Daniel Claus (Ronna) of Burlington, Richard Claus (Cindy) of Peterborough and James Claus (Debbie) of Burlington. Grandpa is remembered by Lance, Kyle, Brent, Bradley, Michael, Michelle, Jennifer, Lee and Miranda. Survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his first wife Greta May Claus (1982), daughter Linda Moore, brothers Bill and Stewart and step-sister Mary Ann McIntosh. A funeral service will be held at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL on Tuesday October 22, 2013 at 1:00 PM. Visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment Lakefield Cemetery. A reception will follow in the Heritage Room of the Funeral Home. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the CCAC - Peterborough as expressions of sympathy.
