Obituary of Gordon Stencell

STENCELL, Gordon Henry Passed away peacefully at the P.R.H.C. on Saturday September 21, 2013. Gord Stencell of Peterborough, formerly of Lakefield in his 92nd year, husband of the late Marion (Conlon). Loving father of John (Helen) of Kingston, James (Brenda) of Peterborough, Paul (late Wendy) of Flatbush, Alta., Gerry (Sue) of Cavan, Mary Lou (Charlie Finnegan), Betty Anne (Keith Dulmage) and Peter (Debra) all of Peterborough and Dan (Darlene) of Newcastle. Sadly missed by his 19 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Brother of Naomi Nieman, (late Garfield) and the late Wilfred and Dennis Stencell. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL on Thursday September 26, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Parish Prayers will be offered at 6:45 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Paul the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, Lakefield on Friday September 27, 2013 at 10:00 AM. A reception will follow in the Heritage Room of the funeral home. Interment St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Cemetery, Douro.
