Obituary of Charles Lobb

LOBB: Charles S. "Charlie" Passed away peacefully at the Campbellford Memorial Hospital on Thursday August 8, 2013 aged 93 years. Charlie will be remembered as a farmer in the area for over 70 years and for his dedicated involvement with the Norwood Agricultural Society and Fair for over 60 years. Loved and missed by his wife of 55 years, Laura (Horne). Also missed by his children Roy, Murray (Beth), Margaret Lobb and Carolyn Campbell (Paul). Grandpa is remembered by Britney, Matthew, David, Hillary, Laura, Jonathon, Adrienne and Bethany and by great grandchildren Rilynn and Henry. Survived by his sister Willa Patton (the late Willis). Predeceased by his brothers Arnold (Frances) and Wellington. Also remembered by the Horne Family. Friends and relatives may call at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, NORWOOD CHAPEL on Tuesday August 13, 2013 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday August 14, 2013 at 1:00 PM. Interment Asphodel-Norwood Cemetery.
