Obituary of Frederick Binnington

BINNINGTON, Frederick (1927-2013) Passed away peacefully after a short illness on Sunday August 4, 2013 at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre, Palliative Care Unit, in his 87th year. He was a resident of Lakefield his whole life and worked for Intrusion Prepakt Ltd. - Specialists in Underwater Concrete, travelling throughout Canada and the U.S. He was the beloved son of Charles and Elsie Binnington. Predeceased by his sisters Thelma and Jeannette and his brother Ray. He will be sadly missed by his sister, Vera Mehlenbacher, nieces Pat Mehlenbacher, Deborah McColl (Howard), Cynthia Binnington (Jim), Terri-Lynn Johnston (Gary), Julie Niles (Stephen), Barb Kenzora (Stanley), Beverly Asselin (Jacques) and nephews Glenn Mehlenbacher (Jacquie), John Mehlenbacher, Kim Mehlenbacher (Mary), Charles Binnington and Robert Binnington (Joanne). He also had many great and great great nieces and nephews. The family wishes to extend its deepest gratitude to the exceptional nursing staff of P.R.H.C., Palliative Care Unit and particularly Dr. J. Weir, Dr. M. Vajid, and Dr. A. Sethi for their outstanding care. A private family service will be held.
