Bruce Stinson passed away peacefully, with family by his side, at Specialty Care Case Manor on Monday, December 20, 2010 in his 92nd year. Beloved husband of the late Audrey Stinson. Loving father of Stephen (Linda) of Oshawa, William (Susan) of New Hamburg, Connie (George) Switzer of Keene and the late Robert.Father-in-law of Pennie Stinson of Acton. Grandfather of Channing (Troy) Wilson, Jeremiah (Alexandra) Stinson, Brandy (Kevin) Paton, Nicholas (Danu) Stinson, Jordan Stinson (Jill Helm) and Trevor Stinson. Great-grandfather of Jalynn, Makinnon, Sebastian, Xavier, Makaella, Hunter and the late Avery. Step-grandfather of James (Yvonne) Switzer, Joseph (Eva) Switzer and Shannon Switzer. Brother of Allan (Annabelle) Stinson of Bobcaygeon, Roxanne (Bill) Shearer of Whitby and the late Cliff, Don and Roberta. Family and friends will be received at MONK FUNERAL HOME, 6 Helen Street, Bobcaygeon (705-738-3222 or 866-393-0063) on Tuesday, December 28, 2010 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. There will be a Legionl service in the chapel on Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at 1 p.m. Interment Verulam Cemetery.
