Johanna DeGroot passed away peacefully at Specialty Care Case Manor, Bobcaygeon on Sunday, December 12, 2010 in her 87th year. Beloved wife of the late Peter DeGroot. Loving mother of Maria (Doug) Rogers of Parry Sound, Joseph DeGroot of Kingston, Ellen (Paul) Helleur of Bobcaygeon and Peter DeGroot of Rexdale. Grandmother of David, Jason (Leisel) and Matthew. Great-grandmother of Lucas and Ava. Sister of Pete Cowenberg and the late Nellie. A private service will be held at Monk Funeral Home, 6 Helen Street, Bobcaygeon (705-738-3222 or 866-393-0063).
