Obituary of Douglas Atchison

ATCHISON, Douglas ""Doug"" Retired owner/operator of Trotter Equipment Doug passed away peacefully in his 72nd year with family by his side at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Wednesday August 22, 2012. Beloved husband of 48 years to Mary (nee Hyde). Cherished father to his sons Joel and Paul. Grandpa to Bryor, Mackenzie and Claire. Also remembered by his in-laws Joyce Atchison, Jane Ashton (Fred), Lynn Hyde, Judy Nafziger (Bill) and by his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Victor & Irene, brother Dick and parents-in-law Doris & Bob Hyde. Relatives and friends are invited to call at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL on Friday August 24, 2012 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. A funeral service will be held from the Hendren Chapel on Saturday August 25, 2012 at 1:00 PM. Interment Lakefield Cemetery. A reception will follow in the Heritage Room of the funeral home.
