DUTCHUK, George T. Passed away peacefully at the P.R.H.C. on Saturday February 4, 2012. George Dutchuk of Peterborough, formerly of Lakefield in his 91st year. Beloved husband of Mary (nee Spencer). Dear father of George Dutchuk Jr. (Rose) of Ajax and Lynda Van Strepen (Albert) of Buckhorn and step-father of Rosemary O'Donnell (Tony Croker) of Peterborough, Frances Cavanagh (David) of Ennismore, Patricia Atkin (George) of R.R. 3, Lakefield and Margaret ""Peggy"" Elmhirst (Jeffrey) of Peterborough. Beloved grandfather of Mark Dutchuk and Patricia (Darren Bond), step-grandfather of Danielle and Jordan Cavanagh, Erica and Erin Atkin and Laura and Ryan Elmhirst and great grandfather of Jayden and Sonya Bond. Also survived by his many nieces, nephews, sister Anna Cross (Lyle) and brothers Nicholas and Steve. Predeceased by his first wife Lillian (nee Fedorin, d. 1986), sister Helen and brothers Michael, John, Fred and Bill. Relatives and friends are invited to call at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL on Wednesday February 8, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Parish Prayers will be offered at the funeral home on Wednesday at 6:45 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Paul the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, Lakefield on Thursday February 9, 2012 at 11:00 AM. Interment Lakefield Cemetery.
