Obituary of Douglas Newson

NEWSON: Douglas Emerson Passed away peacefully on Wednesday November 23, 2011, at Lakeridge Health, Oshawa after a short struggle with cancer, in his 72nd year. Loved and missed by his wife Marilyn (nee Peacock) of Hastings. Dad will be remembered by Jennifer Towns (Lionel) of Lakefield and Sherri Wilson (Jamie McIlmoyle) of Curve Lake. Grandpa will be missed by Ethan, Lucas and Ava Towns and Amanda Carvalho (Chris). Friends and relatives may call at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL on Sunday November 27, 2011 from 1-4 PM. A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Monday November 28, 2011 at 1:00 PM. Visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment Lakefield Cemetery.
