Obituary of Bertha Bothwell

BOTHWELL: Bertha Ada (nee Forbes) November 10, 1911 - July 8, 2011 Passed away on Friday July 8, 2011 in London, Ontario in her 100th year. Beloved Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother. Bertha is predeceased by her husband of 69 years, John D. Bothwell (July 12, 2001). Bertha is also predeceased by her son George (November 1986) and beloved daughter Janet Jones (August 7, 2010). Sister of the late Charlotte Hampton and deceased brothers Frederick and Harry Forbes. She is survived by her sisters-in-law Marian Bothwell (Thomas Ray) of Fraserville, Ontario and Bernice Bothwell (Haig) of Peterborough. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Dianne, son Frederick Bothwell (Ruth) and son-in-law Maurice Jones (Janet). A cherished and loved grandmother of Stephanie & Scott, Jane & Quinn, Christina & Michel, Kathy & Peter and Erika & Keith. Bertha will also be missed by her great grandchildren Max, Ethan & Colin, Alexander & Petra and George and Danny. A funeral service will be held at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL, 66 Queen St., Lakefield on Saturday July 16, 2011 at 1:00 PM. Visitation one hour prior to the service. A reception will follow in the Heritage Room of the funeral home. Interment St. Mark's Cemetery, Warsaw. Memorial donations may be made to 'Save The Children Fund Canada' as expressions of sympathy.
