My memories of Uncle Hug are full of gratitude for his generous spirit. No matter what the circumstance, Uncle Hug was always there for our family. It didn't matter how long we hadn't seen each other. Uncle Hug personified the Fairbairn motto `Semper Eadem', He was 'Always the Same'. You could count on him. My deepest condolences to Robyn, Max and Jessica. And to his sisters Marion and Alison and his brother Blair, and their families, and to everyone who loved him.

Ok I don't know where to begin. My first Job was at August Brothers in 1982. It was one of only 3 jobs I had. Hugh was SO incredible to me throughout the years, good times and bad times. I feel I disappointed him at one point, he knows what I am talking about but he lifted me up and gave me another opportunity and for that I am eternally grateful. We had some great times there! Robyn and Max I am so so sorry for your loss he was a wonderful man.
