Dot, I just opened up the Lakefield Herald and was shocked to read this sad news. I very much enjoyed my discussions with Gord when we were on the Planning Board together. He was a lovely man and will be greatly missed. Margaret

Hello Dorothy & Family: So sorry to hear the news of Gord's passing. He certainly did a lot for his community and we are all thankful for that. It is nice you are settled in your new home and don't have to think about moving. Hope to see you around the Village. Aileen and Mike

Dear Dorothy and family, Sincere condolences on the loss of your old fighter pilot. Our thoughts are with you. Many years have gone by since those heady days in North Luffenham and later in Zweibrucken. But the memories, being long term, are still vivid and recalled upon many an occasion. That we lost touch with you and Gord unfortunate, but that is life! Please know that you are both fondly remembered by John and Arlene. Qualicum Beach BC

Dorothy & family: Just a note to say how sorry we were to hear of Gord,s death. He will be greatly missed. It has been quite awhile since we lived next door to you on the 507. But remember some good times. Especially when Jimmy was over & he & Rick made pull taffy to gether. Take care & God Bless. We are still living in Ingersoll.
