Obituary of Ronald Stevenson

RONALD DOUGLAS STEVENSON WWII RCAF Veteran Died at Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Saturday, March 12, 2011 at the age of 86. Ron was born on March 8, 1925 in Tobique River, New Brunswick. He will be dearly missed by his loving wife Velma (Fielder/Sims) of Peterborough, sister Lillian MacDougall of New Brunswick, step-sons Douglas Sims (Janet) of Hastings and Dennis Sims (Penny-Lynne) of Norwood, daughter-in-law Lori, sister-in-law Betty, many nieces and nephews and his many friends. He is predeceased by son, John, brothers Gordon and Stewart, and sister, Audrey. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at Norwood Baptist Church, (38 Queen Street, Norwood) with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers and as expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to Peterborough Regional Health Centre.
