Obituary of Bernard Corless

CORLESS: Bernard ""Bernie"" Passed away peacefully at Peterborough Manor on Wednesday February 2, 2011, in his 84th year. A longtime employee of Gormley Aggregates, Bernie also loved to spend time outdoors, whether fishing or gardening. He was an accomplished pianist, loved to play Euchre and Cribbage and was an active member for many years with Scouts Canada and the Richmond Hill Kinsmen. Loved and missed by his wife of 64 years, Florrie. Lovingly remembered by his children Barnie (Anna Marie) of Richmond Hill, Noranne Flower (Bob) of Ennismore, David of Newmarket and daughter-in-law Joan Airhart (George) of Newmarket. Dear grandpa of Bill, Bernadette, Michael, Denise (Scott), Amanda, Jeffrey, Jaclyn and great grandpa of Phoebe and Liam. Predeceased by his parents John & Lillian, son Randie (1997) and brother John. A private family service and interment will be held at the Elgin Mills Cemetery in Richmond Hill. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association as expressions of sympathy.
