THOMPSON: B.W. ""Bert"" An avid fisherman, hunter and trapper, Bert Thompson of Apsley, passed suddenly on Thursday December 30, 2010 in his 75th year. Sadly missed by his children Cathy McLeod (Sonny) of Hamilton, Clint Thompson (Kim Pearson) of Cayuga, Mark Thompson (Kathy) of Oshawa and Susan Bernard of Cambridge. Deeply missed by his close companion and partner Maureen Russell of Apsley. Dear grandfather of Leslie & Bradley, Heather & Clint Jr., Bruce & Blair. Remembered by his sister Joyce Doyle of Kitchener, nieces & nephew and many friends and neighbours. Cremation has taken place. An open house to celebrate Bert's life will be held at his home, 151 Eels Lake Rd., Apsley, on Saturday January 8, 2011 from 1 - 3 PM.
