Obituary of Murney Lemmon

LEMMON, Murney - Retired 43 year employee of Outboard Marine Suddenly as a result of a stroke, surrounded by his family at the P.R.H.C. on Friday, November 13, 2009. Murney Lemmon of R.R. 4, Peterborough in his 79th year. Beloved husband of Betty (Sparks). Cherished father of Cathy MacNaughton (Larry), Ken Lemmon all of Lakefield, Kim Cole of Peterborough, Vicky Minnie (Stacey) of B.C., Linda Hurl and Robin Kennedy (Gord) all of Lakefield. Dearly loved and missed by his 16 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and by his special cousin Raymond Clancy (Sharon). Always remembered by brothers-in-law Cleve Gallagher and Jim Hicks and sister-in-law Mary Lemmon. Also loved by his sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by parents Mary (Nisbett) and Arthur Lemmon, siblings Mary Gallagher, Bill Lemmon, twins Stanley and Stella Lemmon and Eva Hicks. A funeral service will be held in the Hendren Chapel on Wednesday, November 18, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. with visitation to commence at 10:00 A.M. A reception will follow at The Church on the Rock, Burleigh Falls.
