MERTON: MAISIE JOYCE Former Employee of K-Mart, Peterborough. Peacefully at Lee Manor, Owen Sound on September 2, 2009, Maisie Joyce Merton (Bursey), formerly of R.R. #4, Peterborough in her 85th year. Loving wife of the late Jack Merton. Loving mother of Jack (Ardith) of Orangeville, Carol (Rev. David Shearman) of Owen Sound, Sharon of Owen Sound and Shelley of Lakefield. Survived by her brother, George Bursey (Uta) of Peterborough. Predeceased by seven brothers and sisters. Also survived by six grandchildren, Todd (Tracy), Jonathan (Heather), Jason, Mark, Angela and Jessica and one great-granddaughter (Sydney). Member O.E.S. Peterborough Chapter #161. Maisie will be deeply missed by her children and their families and her many friends. Funeral service will be held at the Hendren Funeral Home Chapel, Lakefield on Saturday September 5, 2009 at 11:00 AM. Rev. David Shearman officiating. Interment Lakefield Cemetery.
