Obituary of John Wilson

WILSON: John Gordon Peacefully at his home on Sunday August 2, 2009 after a short struggle with Cancer. John Wilson of R.R. #2 Norwood, aged 52 years. John was a longtime employee of G.M. Oshawa for over 30 years. Loved and missed by his wife Eileen (nee Billyard). Dad will be missed by his son John. Also missed by his mother May Wilson of Oshawa; step-mother Rita Wilson of Mississauga; brother Donald (Cheryl) and sister Debbie Badgley (Mike), both of Oshawa. Remembered by his nieces Aleah, Christine, Sherri, Crystal, Sasha, Stacey and nephews Brad, Sean, Mitchell, Allan and Bryce. Also remembered by his mother-in-law Evelyn Billyard, four brothers-in-law and one sister-in-law. Predeceased by his father Ronald and his brother-in-law Bill. Cremation has taken place. Friends and relatives are invited to call at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, NORWOOD CHAPEL, on Wednesday August 5, 2009 from 7-9 PM and on Thursday August 6, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A Memorial Service will be held in the Hendren Chapel on Friday August 7, 2009 at 1:00 PM. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, St. John's Ambulance or Scout Canada (Kawartha Waterways) as expressions of sympathy.
