Obituary of May Payne

PAYNE, Nellie May ""May"" Passed away peacefully at Extendicare, Lakefield on Friday, June 5, 2009. May Payne formerly of Warsaw in her 90th year. May was a member of the Warsaw Women's Institute, U.C.W. and Senior Citizens. Loving wife of the late Ivan (1997). Missed by her children Sidney (Linda) of Peterborough, Velma Prest (Bill) of Hastings, Rick (Susan) of Curve Lake and Eric (Linda) of Warsaw. Also missed by her daughter-in-law Carolyn Payne of Warsaw. Remembered by her grandchildren Derek (Ginnett), Shannon Trudeau (Allan), Michael (Joanne), Tracey Dunford (Rick), Leanne Faul, Lori Ferguson (David), Pauline Jacobs (Kevin), Cara Dekker (Rob), Ronald, Robbie, Valerie Taylor and Kimberley Payne and 17 great grandchildren. Predeceased by infant daughter Karen, son Paul , son-in-law Harvey Kidd, brother Fred (Peggy) and sister Eileen Carr (Gordon). Relatives and friends may call at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL on Monday June 8, 2009 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. A funeral service will be held in the Hendren Chapel on Tuesday June 9, 2009 at 11:00 am. Interment St. Mark's Cemetery, Warsaw. Reception to follow at the Warsaw Town Hall.
