Obituary of George Graham

GRAHAM, George H. (Former Reeve of Lakefield, Warden of Peterborough County, Owner/Operator Lakefield Creamery and Retired Farmer) Passed away peacefully upon the very land he once gardened (Extendicare-Lakefield) on Sunday, May 17, 2009. George H. Graham a long-time resident of Lakefield in his 105th year. Husband of the late Leona (Kingdon). Cherished father of John (Suzanne) of Ottawa, Barbara Bell (Lloyd) of Peterborough and her late husband Arthur Turney and Ruth Stock (late Gerald) of Lakefield. Beloved grandfather of Dan (Joanne), Brian (Judy), Susan, Cyndy (Steven), John (Wendy), Bill (Nikki), Greg (Jennifer), Christopher (Christina) and Jennifer (Brandon). Always loved and remembered by his 21 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. Dear brother of Beverley of Lakefield, Allen, Wesley, Arnold all of Peterborough and the late Walter, Gerald, Theodore, Norman, Elmer, Annie Cockburn and Mary Bulmer. Relatives and friends may call at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIED CHAPEL on Wednesday, May 20, 2009 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 P.M. A funeral service will be held from the Lakefield United Church on Thursday, May 21, 2009 at 10:00 A.M. Interment Lakefield Cemetery. A reception will follow in the Church Hall.
