MANCHESTER: HOWARD WESLEY Passed away peacefully at Empress Gardens, Peterborough. Howard Manchester of Peterborough, formerly of RR. #2 Lakefield in his94th year. Loving husband of Vera Alice (WInter). Dear father of Marilyn (Doug Brown), Cheryl (Bob Pachal) all of Whitby and Lorraine (Dennis Ward) of Markham. Grandfather to Michael Pachal (Laura), Shannon Hinton (Jason), Philip Brown (Louise), Leanne Cobierski (Scott), Christine Brown (Mike Loosemore) and David Brown (Nellie). Great grandfather to Darcey & Julia Pachal, Cameron & Daria Hinton, Kyla, Kori and Koda Cobierski and Nathan and Cassidy Brown. Lovingly remembered by Glenda Newson. Predeceased by his parents Ernest & Maggie Manchester, brothers Arthur & Percy and sister Eva. Howard will be remembered by many as the Principal of Lakefield High School for many years. Friends and relatives may call at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOME, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL on Sunday February 15, 2009 from 1-3 PM. A funeral service will be held in the Hendren Chapel on Monday at 11:00 AM. Visitation one hour prior to service. A reception will follow in the Heritage Room of the Funeral Home. Interment Methodist Cemetery, Carp, Ont. at a later date.
