Obituary of Carman Nelson
NELSON, Carman Everett Retired Roads Superintendent for Dummer Township and life-time farmer passed away peacefully at the P.R.H.C. on Sunday, November 30, 2008. Carman Nelson of Warsaw in his 81st year, husband of the late Alice Marie (Edwards). Much loved father of Bonnie Nelson of Calgary, Robert of Buckhorn, Brad (Marilyn) of Warsaw, Beth Nelson of Vancouver, Roger of Warsaw and Tracey Nelson (Stephen Turnbull) of Vancouver. Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Carrie Larose (Brent), Amy Adams, Nicole Adams, Bobby Nelson (Kelly), Ben Nelson, Emily Nelson, Kevin Nelson, Karla Nelson, Luke Nelson, Becky Nelson and Dayton Nelson Holmes. Also missed by his great grandchildren Dylan Ruttan (Amy Adams) and Erica Watts (Nicole Adams). Fondly remembered by his long time companion, and friend to the family, Anne Bessie. Carm was the dear brother of Laura Darling (Bob), Mervin Nelson (Lois), Edna Banks (Cecil), Ralph Nelson (Cheryl) and Murray Nelson (Jean). Predeceased by his brothers Elwood and Sherman, sister-in-law Jean Nelson and brother-in-law Howard Darling. Friends may call at the HENDREN FUNERAL HOME, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL on Thursday, December 4, 2008 from 2-4:00 & 7-9:00 PM. A funeral service will be held in the Hendren Chapel on Friday, December 5, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. Interment St. Mark's Cemetery, Warsaw. Reverend Beverly Sumbler officiating. A celebration of Carm's life will follow at the Warsaw Town Hall. As expressions of sympathy memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Lakefield Primary Healthcare Campaign.
