BYERS: Evelyn (nee Moore) Passed away peacefully at the Fairhaven Home, Peterborough, surrounded by her family on Friday October 10, 2008. Evelyn Byers of Lakefield in her 87th year. Loving wife of the late David Byers (1985). Sadly missed by her children Anne Wilson, Joan Keller, Bob Byers (Brenda) and Linda More (Bob). Gramma is remembered by Terri (Anthony), Lorrie (John), Jeff (Tammy), Scott (Amy), Stephen (Patti), Kim (Steven), Rob, Scott, Jack (Jeni), Debbie (Jason), Tim, Chris and 15 great grandchildren. Survived by her sisters-in-law Margaret & Irene Moore. Predeceased by her son George Byers, sons-in-law Doug Wilson & Michael Keller, brothers Bill (Marjorie), Charlie, Tom, Orville (Grace) and sisters Hazel (Norm) & Ellen (George). Friends and relatives may call at the HENDREN FUNERAL HOME, Lakefield on Tuesday October 14, 2008 from 7-9 PM. A funeral service will be held in the Hendren Chapel on Wednesday October 15, 2008 at 11:00 AM. Visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment Lakefield Cemetery. A reception will follow in the Fellowship Hall of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Lakefield. Memorial donations may be made to the Sick Children's Hospital, Toronto, the Fairhaven Foundation or St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church as expressions of sympathy.
