Obituary of Gordon FINLEY

FINLEY, Gordon Francis Passed away peacefully at Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay after a lengthy illness, on Tuesday, September 23, 2008. Gordon Finley of Bobcaygeon, formerly of Rockcroft in his 85th year. Gordon will be missed by his sister Wilma Allen of Buckhorn, brother Jack Finley (Lorna) of Oshawa and by brother-in-law Jack Simmonds. Always remembered by Norm Windover (Roberta) and by his many other nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Ethel and James Finley, and by his sisters Mildred Brown, Pearl LaFonte, Helen Simmonds and Marjorie Pluard. Relatives and friends may call at the HENDREN FUNERAL HOME, Lakefield on Thursday, September 25,2008 from 7 - 9 P.M. A funeral service will be held from the Hendren Chapel on Friday, September 26, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. A reception will follow in the Heritage Room of the funeral home. Cremation.
