Obituary of Arthur Jake Kidd

KIDD: ""Jake"" Arthur John (WWII Veteran) Passed away peacefully at Extendicare Lakefield on Thursday July 17, 2008. Jake Kidd of Lakefield in his 86th year. Jake worked for the C.N. Railroad as a locomotive engineer for 37 years, retiring in 1986. He loved to spend time playing pool, fishing and hunting. Survived by daughter Bonny ""Beverley"" Chris and her husband George. Also survived by grandsons Duane (Carol), Stephen (Melanie), great grandson Joshua, sisters-in-law Irene Johnston and Maye Nicholls, cousin Harold Kidd, nephews Brian & Douglas and nieces Judy & Wendy. Jake will be fondly remembered by his best friend Lisa Giles and her family. Predeceased by his wife Jeanne, sons Davis, Douglas, Joseph and daughter Nancy. Also predeceased by his parents, sister Margaret, brother Gordon and niece Shirley. Friends and relatives may call at the HENDREN FUNERAL HOME, Lakefield on Sunday July 20, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
