Obituary of Walter Thomas

THOMAS: Walter George Passed away at the P.R.H.C. on Friday July 4, 2008. Walter Thomas of Buckhorn in his 77th year. Loved and missed by his wife of 55 years, Joan (nee Barrett). Also missed by his children Kirk (Debbie) of Toronto and Laura Windsor (Dave) of Sutton. Dear Grandpa of Samantha, Steven, Micheal, Brandon, Dawn and 5 great grandchildren. Survived by his sisters-in-law Doreen Wright, Eleanor Barrett and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brother Bill and his wife Shirley and brothers-in-law Don Wright and Alf Barrett. Walter will be fondly remembered by his many friends including the Buckhorn Carvers. Cremation has taken place. A private family service will follow at a later date.
