Eric Given, a lifelong resident of Bobcaygeon, passed away peacefully at Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Tuesday, February 16, 2010, at the age of 88. Loving husband of the late Leone (Finley) Given. Father of Earl (Kevlyn) Given of Bobcaygeon, Joy Given of Peterborough, Brenda (Brian) Birgeneau of Grande Prairie, AB and Fred Given of Fort Myers, FL. Grandfather of Travis (Linsey) Given of Thunder Bay, Robinson Given of Calgary, AB; Erica Birgeneau of Calgary, AB; and Matt Birgeneau of Grande Prairie, AB. Brother of Enid Kimble of Bobcaygeon and the late Bruce, Bill, Roy, Harry, Russell, Emery and Margaret. Funeral service in the chapel on Monday, February 22, 2010 at 2 p.m. Masonic Lodge members are asked to assemble at the funeral home at 6:30 p.m. Sunday.
